Job Description
Quality Engineer at Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) to support quality control processes and ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
Requirements
- Supports quality control processes throughout product lifecycle
- Implement best practices and ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations
- Supports DoD contracts delivering products and services for the full lifecycle air and missile systems
- Conducts acquisition planning and development by reviewing current and proposed contract language to ensure quality management is addressed
- Evaluate and ensure contractors follow accepted quality standards (ISO 9000, AS9100, and CMMI)
- Ensure Quality of Design by participating in all Preliminary/Critical Design Reviews
- Perform inspections and review functional tests data/documentation for product/system acceptance
- Make recommendations to the customer to accept or reject hardware of a suppliers’ level of effort
- Provide independent assessment of supplier actions/documentation
- Provide Quality oversight activities ensuring compliance with customer requirements of supplier systems/procedures/processes
- Keep PM informed of technical status of assigned tasks, program status, significant program events, controversial issues, program reviews, and other relevant issues.
