Staff Node.js Backend

AHOY is seeking a Staff Node.js Backend Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of robust backend solutions that power our applications.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a backend developer with a focus on Node.js
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven programming
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment strategies
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills, particularly in a remote work environment
