Senior Data Platform Engineer

Flix is looking for a motivated and skilled Senior Data Platform Engineer to join their Core Data Platform team. The successful candidate will have experience with scalable data platforms, Kafka, and Terraform, and will be responsible for improving and maintaining the company's data platform infrastructure on AWS, K8s, Confluent Cloud, and Snowflake.

Requirements

• Strong data architecture experience
• Proven track record of solving complex data challenges in large or multi-team organizations
• Kafka knowledge from architecture and a developer's perspective
• Extensive experience with scalable data platforms in complex environments
• End-to-end infrastructure ownership — CI/CD, observability & monitoring
• Solid Terraform knowledge
• On-call experience
• Solid experience with a Cloud Provider (preferably AWS)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Fluent in English, with strong technical communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences
