The Lead Medical Coordinator - Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing health services, coordinating timely and appropriate health services, supervising Medical Coordinators, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in a dynamic clinical environment.

Requirements

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient health status
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications safely and accurately
• Perform various medical treatments, procedures, and interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
• Supervise the Medical Department staff and others assigned as deemed necessary
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the organization's mission and values
• Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement
• Manage and oversee departmental expenditures to ensure budgetary compliance
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough patient records in electronic health systems (EHR)
• Ensure all nursing practices and documentation comply with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards
• Communicate critical patient information effectively to the healthcare team
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and proposing solutions
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, and self-care techniques
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and needs
• Take initiative to seek professional development opportunities and contribute to departmental growth
