ESL Teacher

Focused Staffing Group is seeking a dedicated ESL Teacher to support English language learners from PreK–12. The role involves designing engaging lessons, collaborating with teachers and families, and fostering a positive classroom environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate or ESL Endorsement, or eligibility
• 3–5 years of ESL teaching experience preferred
• Strong understanding of second language acquisition and sheltered instruction
• Experience with differentiated instruction and data-driven teaching
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and support teams
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and digital learning tools
• Successful completion of required criminal history background check
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
