The Learning Specialist supports students with diverse learning profiles by coordinating academic accommodations and providing targeted academic support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Learning Disabilities, Psychology, Education, School Counseling, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience supporting students with learning differences
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, universal design for learning, and academic accommodations
- Experience developing and implementing academic interventions, including executive functioning and study skills
- Working knowledge of applicable laws and best practices related to learning accommodations in independent schools
