The company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design efforts for crucial parts of their iron-air battery integrated structures.

Requirements

• Create white-page designs for Form Energy's Gen 2 product designs
• Perform hands-on prototyping of designs and collaborate with broader teams
• Work with consulting companies, vendors, manufacturing engineers, and technical operations to transition designs from the prototype stage to high volume production
• Perform bench testing, hand calculations, and FEA to inform specs and future design direction
• Release designs consistent with company and team best practices
• Drive verification testing of your design work
• Perform failure root cause analysis on systems and assemblies
• Travel up to 20% to other Form Energy offices or vendor sites
