Job Description
Caregiver (PT) at Foundation Health: Assist clients with daily activities, provide companionship, and perform light housekeeping duties. Must have Supportive Care Worker Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, or completion of Term 1 of a PSW program.
Requirements
- Supportive Care Worker Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, or completion of Term 1 of a PSW program
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Tuberculosis within 6 months
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Effective English communication skills, written and verbal
- Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel and reach, ability to lift 50lbs (23 kg) independently, ability to assist clients with standing, walking, sitting; able to reposition clients in bed
- Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful and courteous manner
- Ability to use phone applications
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car
