Job Description
The Facilities Plant Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining central power plant machinery and equipment, including boilers, refrigeration machinery, and electrical equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or trade school certificate, 3 years of utility plant operation experience, and a State of Connecticut OE2 Operating Stationary Engineer License. The incumbent must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and able to make quick decisions.
