Job Description
Compulsory internship in the field of additive manufacturing / 3D printing at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology in Berlin. Support the area of additive manufacturing with a focus on powder bed-based melting and collect experience in industrial-oriented research.
Requirements
- Study of the subject of mechanical engineering, production technology, physical engineering science, computer science in mechanical engineering or comparable
- Good production technical knowledge
- Proactive and solution-oriented working style
- Experience in scientific writing
- Knowledge in the area of CAD/CAM
- Safe handling of MS Office programs
- Experience in FEM, CFD, or particle simulation is desirable
- Desirable knowledge in the field of additive manufacturing processes
