Studentische Hilfskraft (m/w/d): Nutzung von GIS zur Informationsgewinnung aus Erdbeobachtungsdaten

The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is seeking a Student Assistant (m/f/d) to work on the utilization of GIS for information retrieval from earth observation data. The successful candidate will combine satellite data from different sources, support the automation of the process chain, and create code in Python.

Requirements

• Geosciences, computer science, physics, mathematics, aerospace engineering or comparable field of study
• Interest in conducting scientific analyses with commercial software tools
• Programming knowledge in Python
• Good study achievements, high performance readiness, initiative, and scientific curiosity
• German and English language skills on at least B2 level
