Freenome is seeking a Vice President, Marketing to develop and lead high-performance marketing organizations in the speciality diagnostics industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with hands-on experience and demonstrated success developing commercial strategies that drive successful product positioning, awareness, education, and clinical adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, life sciences, or related field; MBA or PhD strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of prior relevant experience across marketing, sales, and/or managed care, preferably within the molecular diagnostics or precision diagnostics industry.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership with direct responsibility for building and leading high-performance marketing organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem, including clinical workflows, customer types (HCPs, patients, IDNs) and their business models.
- Experience in cancer or preventive screening, primary care, oncology, preventive health and/or consumer sectors.
- Familiarity with in vitro diagnostic devices and/or centralized laboratory developed tests.
- Proven success building and executing comprehensive marketing strategies integrated marketing plans to drive measurable outcomes to achieve performance targets.
- Passion for getting in the trenches through hands-on leadership to build and grow marketing teams from the ground up.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.
- Leads with a data-orientation to drive decisions, identify new opportunities, and foster continuous improvement for optimal results.
- Strong planning and cross-functional partnership skills with demonstrated experience managing complex projects across the organization.
- Proven ability to operate in absolute compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
