Job Description
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) functions as part of the dialysis healthcare team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients. The role involves setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, assisting with patient care, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The PCT will also be responsible for educating patients and families on dialysis treatment and supporting the organization's commitment to quality and safety.
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- State and/or national certification requirements
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or a related facility
- CPR certification
