Job Description
GCI is seeking a Network Maintenance & Construction Technician I to provide outstanding customer service to clients exploring GCI's products and services, including upgrades and expansions. This role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining telecommunications infrastructure, managing system maintenance, and ensuring the integrity of network operation. Focus is on both residential and commercial settings.
Requirements
- Execute construction, installation, routine maintenance, corrective maintenance, testing, and repairs of facilities.
- Assess field conditions and perform tests and measurements for signal quality.
- Manage semi-routine maintenance tasks and repairs, identify deviations from established practices, and consult with senior staff.
- Communicate technical information effectively to customers and colleagues.
- Drive company vehicle and maintain valid driver's license, insurance and safety certification.
