What You Will Do

Design, implement and maintain web application backends written in Java and Spring Boot, automate and document deployment processes for containerized web applications running on AWS ECS, integrate web applications with external authentication identity providers using SAML and/or OAuth, and implement AWS data workflows using containerized Java data processors, Lambda, S3, SQS and other AWS technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline
• 5+ years of related experience
• Java, including Spring Boot
• AWS, including S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Elastic Container Registry, CloudFormation
• Schema validation (JSON and/or XML)
• Containers
• SQL
• Linux CLI
• Experience securely configuring and deploying internet-facing systems deployed in the AWS cloud
• Experience writing AWS CloudFormation to define system configuration as code
• Experience automating system builds and startup using CI tools like Jenkins or AWS CodeBuild
