Job description
GDIT is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA IOEE/IOSEE) program in Springfield, VA. The selected candidate will work under general supervision, developing requirements from inception to conclusion. The team consists of multiple senior engineers, and it is expected that each manage assigned projects and tasks and regularly provide status updates to contract leadership and the customer.
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will support network engineering design and implementation of technology refreshes. You will plan, perform, and document laboratory assessments of hardware and software for both the classified and unclassified DISN Services to ensure proper connectivity and operations between the DLA WAN, the DLA's NOC, and DISA's NOCs.
The Senior Network Engineer must have 5+ years of related experience, current IAT Level III, CCNP-E, and CCSA certifications, and an active Secret with favorable Tier 5 investigation. The role requires network engineering experience in unclassified and classified environments, familiarity with Standard LAN/WAN protocols, and experience with network design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
