Senior Tooling Engineer

GE Appliances is seeking a Senior Tooling Engineer to join our Metal Stamping Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) team. In this role, you will play a key part in New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and ongoing product line initiatives—driving cost reduction, productivity, and safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years' experience with tooling procurement & sheet metal die design concepts, die components and applications
• Familiarity in 3D CAD (ProE, Solidworks, Creo or equivalent) required
• Working knowledge of simulation software (Auto Form or equivalent) and relevant input parameters (preferred)
• Experience with implementing Lean process improvement in a manufacturing operation (preferred)
• Prior NPI program experience (preferred)
