
Job description
Join the GE Aerospace team as an NDT X-Ray Inspector. In this role, you will be inspecting high-pressure turbine blades for jet turbine engines used in nearly all commercial airplanes. You will use digital radiography equipment to inspect turbines according to manufacturing blueprints and process specifications.
Perform digital radiography and computed tomography inspections of aircraft engine turbine airfoils, evaluate images, interpret test findings, accurately document test findings, and communicate information in a teaming environment.
This role requires a high school diploma or GED, current level 2 certification in radiography, and previous radiography training and experience. Desired characteristics include current certification in digital radiography, previous experience performing digital radiographic inspection, and manufacturing experience.
