Senior Engine Code Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Engine Code Engineer plays a key role in advancing the design and performance of internal combustion engines through code creation, embedded software, and code validation. This position leverages various tools to optimize system behavior, improve engine control, and increase engine performance across a range of gaseous fueled applications.

What You Will Do

Create system-level engine code, conduct simulated and functional analyses, conduct system evaluation and testing, interpret testing results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in applying Matlab/Simulink to internal combustion engine related systems
• Experience with co-simulation environments, including Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL)
• Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics techniques applied to engine performance and emissions modeling
