
Job description
Perform non-routine and non-repetitive procedures in the fabrication, curing, build-up, and assembly of composite materials. Work with blueprints, templates, and other authorized information to prepare surfaces and paint composite and metal components.
Prepare surfaces, paint components, assist in mold preparation, mark and cut materials, route, drill, trim, and sand to blueprint dimensions, and assemble aircraft components using adhesives, rivets, and fasteners.
Must be able to work in a safe manner, follow established procedures, and maintain a clean work area. May be required to make continuity checks and monitor quality in accordance with statistical process control procedures.
