Senior Backend Developer (Java+Spring Boot+AKS)

Role Overview

Join a young software services company as a Senior Backend Developer, leveraging AI to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment. Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Spring Boot, working with PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

What You Will Do

Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Spring Boot, optimize performance, memory management, and query efficiency, deploy and maintain microservices on AKS, and implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and tracing tools.

Requirements

• Proficient in PostgreSQL (query optimisation, indexing, and performance tuning)
• Experience with Kafka, event-driven systems, and message queues
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud deployments
• Knowledge of microservice architecture, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent debugging, optimisation, and communication skills
