Job Description
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for coordinating overall shipping and receiving duties for an assigned location. The role involves conducting shipping/receiving, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory management.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Prior experience with forklift, issuing material, sheet destruction and vault issuance of materials
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and teamwork mentality
- Understanding and willingness to follow safety and quality control procedures
- Willingness to work at least 40 hours per week plus occasional overtime as needed
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong planning, organizational and counting skills along with flexibility and the ability to make decisions
- Willingness to take part in our background check and drug test process
- Ability to lift up to 50 pound boxes
