26-27 High School Science Teacher (part-time)

Teach high school science at Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington, a part-time position that requires a passion for science, commitment to student mastery, and critical thinking skills. Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student success. Competitive salary offered.

Requirements

• NC Teacher Certification in the subject area and relevant grades
• Demonstrated ability to teach middle school and/or high school grades 6-12 with a passion for and competency in the appropriate subject area
• Experience in teaching 8th grade Science and preparing students to take the 8th grade Science EOG preferred
• Awareness of educational issues regarding the academic and social development of a diverse population of students
