Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington (GLOW) is a public charter school dedicated to empowering young women through a rigorous college‑preparatory curriculum that blends STEM, arts, and experiential learning. Since opening in 2016, GLOW has expanded from a single 6th‑grade cohort to a full middle and high school serving grades 6‑12, offering small‑class instruction, a dedicated college access department, and a range of extracurriculars—including culinary, media, and makerspace labs—to cultivate confidence, critical thinking, and personal responsibility. The school’s single‑gender environment fosters a supportive, inclusive culture where students balance academic excellence with holistic development, preparing them for successful post‑secondary careers.
