Job Description
As a Substitute Teacher at Spark Academy, you'll support children ages 6 weeks to pre-kindergarten in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. You'll follow established routines, assist with meals and daily care, and ensure children are supervised and supported throughout the day.
Requirements
- Serve as the classroom teacher in their absence, maintaining routines and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Support daily caregiving routines
- Assist in food service including meal set-up and clean-up
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
- Assist children with bathroom procedures
- Supervise children at all times according to federal, state, and local mandates
