Role Overview

The GitHub Security Products team is on a mission to secure the world’s software. As a software engineer at GitHub, you will enhance the collaboration experience at GitHub by working closely with a community of engineers and designers with a distributed, diverse, and passionate team delivering the services that millions of developers depend on.

What You Will Do

Write, review, and maintain clean, high-quality code primarily in Go, Ruby, JavaScript, or C#, delivering scalable technical solutions across multiple GitHub services. Collaborate with engineering teammates, product management, and design to define, prioritize, and build innovative new features that align with business objectives.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
