Job Description
Global Relay is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to oversee testing resources for their high-scale, robust services. The role focuses on efficient testing, automation, continuous improvement, mentoring junior team members, and driving improvements to testing processes. Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in test development
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading a small team
- Strong understanding of the Java language and object oriented principles
- Expertise applying test practices in an agile environment
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit
- Experience testing backend systems or APIs
- Experience with any of the following is an asset: Testing performance with JMeter, Web services technology such as REST, JSON or Thrift, Testing web applications with Selenium WebDriver, Big data technology such as Hadoop, MongoDB, Kafka or SQL, Network principles and protocols such as HTTP, TLS and TCP, Continuous integration systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo, Continuous delivery concepts.
