Job Description
Senior Accountant needs 3+ years of experience in accounting, reconciliation, or financial operations. The Senior Accountant will monitor and reconcile payment transactions, research exception items, and drive them to resolution in collaboration with bank reps, Payment Operations, Finance, Product and Dev teams.
Requirements
- Accountant, Accounting, Reconciliation, Financial Operations, GAAP, SQL, MS Excel, Tableau, Starburst, Alteryx
- Basic knowledge of GAAP and reconciliation best practices
- Experience with high-volume transaction matching in a financial services or payments environment
- Hands-on experience with Blackline Matching, SQL, or other reconciliation tools
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query) and Alteryx
- Experience in banking or fintech preferred
