Job Description
At Globe, we're seeking an AI Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for AI workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms, Terraform, and infrastructure automation, and will work closely with backend engineers, data scientists, and DevOps specialists to create reliable, scalable, and efficient AI infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- 2-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with hands-on experience in GCP and AWS
- Solid proficiency in Infrastructure as Code for infrastructure automation
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud services in GCP (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage) and AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Understanding of AI model lifecycle, model serving, and data-intensive infrastructure
- Experience deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure for high-availability applications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing technologies, continuously learning and integrating new tools and frameworks
