Job Description
We are seeking a Data Center Site Operations Specialist to join our team at ST Telemedia Global Data Centre Philippines in Quezon City. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn, grow, and develop new skills, with a minimum degree in Computing/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields, and 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a 24x7 operations environment.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum Degree in Computing/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Possess 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a 24x7 operations environment (data centers, network operation centers, customer call centers, etc.).
- Possess general knowledge of M&E and Network Critical Infrastructure.
- Broad knowledge in DC facilities related systems such as PDUs, UPS, DC Rectifier, Generator, DRUPs, CRAUs, Chiller, DX cooling, fire protections, raised floor systems, cooling containment, etc
- Understand network structure cabling systems in an IT/data centre environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent team player with a pro-active learning attitude and keen analytical skills.
- Be willing to be on 24x7 standby recall to provide extra manpower coverage when necessary.
- No previous criminal records.
- A team player with the ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-pace environment.
