Job description
GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the corporate office of United Parks & Resorts operation in Orlando, Florida. The Systems Engineer will manage and monitor all installed systems, applications, and databases, and ensure the highest levels of systems, applications, and database availability.
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools. They will also monitor and test application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and work with developers to implement fixes.
The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, or 6 years of practical IT industry experience. They will have excellent n-Tier architecture client/server and web development skills using Microsoft technologies, and experience with developing.NET Core applications and REST-based micro-services.
