Job Description
GOAL, a humanitarian and development agency, is seeking a Social Specialist to work within the Latin America and the Caribbean region. The role focuses on providing support to communities facing crises and poverty, particularly in Honduras, aiming to strengthen productive systems, optimize resource allocation, and improve local economies. GOAL has operated in Latin America and the Caribbean for over 60 years, with a significant presence in Honduras.
Requirements
- Professional studies in social, sociology, anthropology, history, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in local development processes (rural emphasis).
- Verifiable work experience promoting inclusive processes and evaluating/managing social risks.
- Verifiable experience in facilitating organizational strengthening processes.
