Senior Software Engineer, Google Cloud Storage

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on projects to design and implement advanced scheduling algorithms for improved user isolation and QoS, and micro-optimizing server code for ultra-low latency. You will also enhance data integrity through advanced error detection and collaborate with platforms teams on design and qualification of new SSD hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of coding experience in C, C++, Java, or Python
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
• 3 years of experience with developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture
