Software Engineer III, AI/ML, Search News Intelligence

We're looking for software engineers to develop next-generation technologies for Google Search, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as the business grows and evolves. As a software engineer, you will deliver high-quality content for user journeys on Google Search, and work on key Search Results Page features like Top Stories and the News Tab.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development in C++ programming languages
• 2 years of experience analyzing data through statistical, quantitative modeling and forecasting
• 2 years of experience designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced algorithms
• 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language Processing, reinforcement learning, ranking, ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure
