Software Engineer Manager, Google Global Infrastructure, NetSoft

We are seeking a Software Engineer Manager to lead our NetSoft team, enabling agile planning, optimized design, and rapid deployment cycle times for Google's production and corporate networks. As a manager, you will guide the way for a team of engineers working on a varied set of software systems, from network planning to simulations, and playing a critical role in business-critical projects such as enabling AI/ML and cloud expansions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience in software development
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role
