Software Engineering Manager II, Google Cloud

As a Software Engineering Manager II at Google Cloud, you will manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, oversee large product budgets, and deploy projects internationally. You will set priorities, align strategy, and develop technical visions for your team(s).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing strategic projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
• Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
