Press Operator

The Press Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the press while meeting the standards in quality and productivity. The Press Operator examines job orders to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors and special printing instructions.

Requirements

• 2+ yrs previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to stand on concrete flooring for long periods of time with scheduled breaks
• Prior experience utilizing pallet jack —highly preferred
• Must be able to walk around machine/equipment frequently
• Must be able to lift/carry weight approximately 35 lbs
• Must be able to climb a flight of metal steps leading up to a platform at the top of the machine
• Must be able to perform a forward bend momentarily up to 90 degrees
• Must be able to kneel to perform repairs/cleaning/housekeeping tasks
• Must have the ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
