Seasonal Senior Counselor - Overnight Camp

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Seasonal Senior Counselor for their overnight camp at Camp Speers in the Poconos. The role involves supervising campers, planning activities, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will have experience working with children, a sense of humor, and enthusiasm for making a positive impact on the community.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Enrolled in 2 years of child development coursework approved by state licensing requirements
• Experience working with children and at least two seasons working as a Y Camp Counselor or as a counselor in a comparable program
• Enthusiasm, sense of humor, and patience
