Job Description
Join Greenchoice as a Senior Forecaster and contribute to a stable and sustainable energy portfolio for over 600,000 customers. As a senior within the forecasting team, you will take on a specialty, coach junior colleagues, and help the team grow. You will ensure that the energy portfolio remains continuously in balance and provide insights to the trading desk.
Requirements
- University education in a quantitative direction (such as Econometrics, Meteorology, or a technical study)
- At least 3 years of experience with real-time or probabilistic forecasting, preferably in the energy sector
- Strong Python skills: experience with model development, transferable code, and version management in Git for forecasting and automation
- Communicative power: experience in representing the team to internal and external stakeholders
