Mechanical Assembler

Role Overview

This position is responsible for hands-on assembly, testing, and packaging of mechanical systems, equipment, and components in a production assembly line environment.

What You Will Do

Build electromechanical assemblies, interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, plumb and assemble hydraulic tubing, fit gears and other mechanical assemblies, and perform quality checks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of wiring or electromechanical assembly experience
• Vocational or formal applicable education or certifications
• Skilled and experience in small machine assembly, precision machining, measuring tool use, GD&T comprehension, and industrial manufacturing environments
• Ability to read instructions, safely operate equipment, and visually inspect parts
• Proficient use of hand and power tools
• Good hand dexterity and grip strength
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Ability to efficiently manage time and work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft platforms (Word, Excel)
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions
• Self-motivated, able to take initiative, and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, bending, and reaching
