Job Description
We are seeking skilled and dependable Field Technicians - (Level 2 and Level 3) to join our growing field operations team. These technicians will play a critical role in installing, configuring, and maintaining rugged computing and networking systems in fleet, ambulatory/police vehicles and metro trains.
Requirements
- Perform rugged laptop, router, and peripheral installations in vehicles or field environments.
- Run, terminate, and label power and data cabling with precision and attention to detail.
- Mount and secure hardware (e.g., docking stations, routers, tablets) according to installation guidelines and safety standards.
- Configure and test networking equipment, including CradlePoint routers and other ruggedized communication systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues onsite and remotely.
- Follow defined scope of work (SOW) and complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and independently.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and customer service standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to support project success.
