Lead Corporate Accountant (Direct Tax)

Experienced and detail-oriented accountant in the GUSA Corporate Accounting team, supporting core corporate accounting functions, monthly close, financial reporting, and income tax processes across US and Canadian jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting and direct tax
• Advanced knowledge of US and Canadian federal and state/provincial income tax regulations
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems a plus
• Proven ability to conduct independent research and present findings to senior management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Collaborative team player with a willingness to mentor and support colleagues
