Job Description
GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Central New Jersey for technical execution of field investigations for various projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required; Master’s degree with Geotechnical Engineering specialization preferred.
- PE/PG strongly preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant field experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Established computer skills using MS Office and geotechnical engineering software (experience with programs such as SEEP/W, SLOPE/W, L-pile, DeepEX, Settle 3D or similar).
- Ability to perform field tasks and activities and communicate remotely as required by the project.
- Ability to work locally and regionally. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing and have a consistent means of reliable transportation to/from work.
