The Safety Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs and procedures across the project.
Requirements
- Develop and implement project-specific safety plans, procedures, and risk management strategies.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Review and approve contractor safety documentation, including method statements and risk assessments.
- Identify unsafe conditions and practices, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Lead safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for site personnel.
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and follow up on corrective measures.
- Monitor compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate safety records, logs, and documentation.
- Support emergency response planning, drills, and readiness activities.
