
Job description
The Director of Purchasing is the enterprise leader responsible for shaping Harbor's inventory investment strategy and driving operational excellence across all purchasing activities at three distribution centers. This dynamic role blends vision, innovation, and hands-on leadership to deliver customer success, competitive advantage, and margin growth.
Develop and execute inventory strategies, manage the Procurement team, drive development and training, and collaborate with Category Management and Sales to build optimal product mixes and inventory plans.
The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of purchasing leadership experience, a proven track record in product and vendor management, and strong financial acumen.
