Job Description
Haselden Construction seeks a General Foreman to join their team, providing a positive and challenging work environment and offering a range of benefits, including medical and dental insurance, 401K plan, and paid time off. The General Foreman will be responsible for supervising crews and ensuring a safe working environment, creating plans of the day and conducting site safety audits.
Requirements
- Reports all near misses and first aids to Superintendent
- Take responsibility for crews/subcontractor safety
- Ensures crew members are inspecting tools daily and removing tools offsite immediately if any are outside of manufacture specifications
- Maintains a clean work area and inspects for tripping hazards daily
- Conducts daily crew stretch and flex exercises
- Creates the Plan of the Day and Hob Hazard Analysis
- Verifies equipment inspection logs
- Supervises routine inspections of personal fall arrest systems
- Participates in weekly site safety audits
- Ensures crew correctly installs and maintains site fence and other storm water BMP's
- Completes Weekly Work Plans, forecasts, and ensures job has proper tools and materials
- Ensures crew is organized and completes tool inventory daily
- Trains others to read blueprints and record concrete quantities and productivity units daily
- Completes pre-pour & post-pour checklists for each pour
- Assists Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in managing subcontractors
