As an Aviation Engineer at HDR, you will work on airfield design projects, prepare approaches, scopes of work, and fee estimates, and lead analyses/design for specific components of projects. You will also work with clients, agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract documents and FAA guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
- A minimum of 3 years experience with Airfield Planning and Design
- Previous experience with Airfield Planning and Design
- Thorough understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D (or similar design software), AVI-Plan software packages and Infraworks modeling software (or similar design software)
- Overall understanding of airfield design
- Microsoft Office experience
- Strong technical background and experience in designing several aspects of airfields
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
