As a Mid-Atlantic Data Center/Mission Critical Team Leader at HDR, you will build and lead a team of technical experts in data center design, support project delivery, and assist with marketing activities and pursuits with key clients in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) market sector.
Requirements
- Attract and recruit engineering staff to serve as subject matter experts (SMEs) within our core and specialty disciplines for data center design projects.
- Assign work and monitor workload among the team SMEs.
- Coordinate staffing and workload with other data center design teams.
- Provide mentoring and opportunities for team growth and development.
- Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of large multi-discipline projects or medium-sized projects with a high degree of technical complexity.
- Oversee project delivery and effective implementation of the QA/QC program.
- Facilitate effective collaboration within project teams and eliminate hurdles and barriers to success.
- Collaborate with local discipline leads on project staffing, project technical support, and project pursuits.
- Work with area business group leadership to implement process improvements, facilitate work sharing and assist in applying key staff/expertise to projects.
- Assist with proposal, fee preparation, and staffing for project pursuits.
- Assist the TMT leadership team with assessing and developing opportunities in the area and national marketplace as directed by market sector leadership.
