Job Description
HDR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead innovation and engineer impact in the company's Building Engineering Services Group. As a senior member of the team, you will coordinate the work of Electrical Engineers, establish client relations, and participate in design and production meetings.
Requirements
- Coordinate the work of Electrical Engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team
- Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design, and production meetings
- Assume the electrical lead on many projects
- Participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance
- Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at the project site
- Coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule
- Track the financial aspects of projects and coordinate the work effort with the team
- Work with the Project Manager and Regional Controller for project reviews with corporate management
- Direct the activities of other electrical engineering professionals and act as a mentor to other staff members
- Perform other duties as needed
