Job Description
This patient care tech role involves direct patient care under the supervision of providers, performing basic procedures, and assisting with tasks such as venipuncture, EKG monitoring, and clerical duties. Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Two (2) years’ experience in an acute care setting, stand-alone er, or military infirmary
- Completion of LPN, paramedic, or RN program
- Completion of EMT, LPN, paramedic, or RN program
- Current employment as a UMMC Nurse Extern
